Senior Congress Office bearer Prof. Mohd Ossama expressed thanks and best wishes to state leadership & party cadre for being bestowed the responsibility of Vice President, Teacher's Cell, Lucknow Congress. Prof. Mohd Ossama has held numerous portfolios for the UP Congress and has been active in politics since 2009. He has spoken extensively on Gandhi, Lohia, Nehru, and the ideals of the party.

Noted Congress Office bearer and Vice President of Teacher's Cell Lucknow Congress Prof. Mohd Ossama welcomed UP Jodo Yatra in Lucknow at its closure in January 2024.  The team of Teacher's Cell, Lucknow Congress was stationed at Kaiserbagh Circle area of Lucknow to welcome the UP Jodo Yatra lead by popular leader Ex Minister UPCC President Shri Ajay Rai.  Prof. Mohd Ossama also welcomed the Yatra at Charbagh area in Lucknow. The UP Jodo Yatra galvanized the masses towards the inclusive and liberal policies of the Congress Party. Prof. Mohd Ossama met many citizens in Lucknow who wanted Congress government in the state and were happy with the leadership of the party. 

Senior Labour Leader Prof. Mohd Ossama met KKC Chairman and Ex MP Dr. Udit Raj at North Avenue, Delhi on tea in March 2023. Prof. Mohd Ossama had worked as State Convenor of Kaamgar Karamchari Congress UP, the workers arm of the Congress Party. Prof. Mohd Ossama is the member of following workers organisations -  1. KITU, CITU 2. Asanghathit Mazdoor Sabha, HMS 3. Lucknow Committee, HMS  4. Gig Workers Union, CITU Prof. Mohd Ossama met Dr. Udit Raj over an elaborate discussion on labour, workers, peasantry and working class issues in Uttar Pradesh.

National Labor Leader Prof. Mohd Ossama met Ex Cabinet Minister UP Shri Nakul Dubey at UPCC in November 2023. Many issues were discussed. Prof. Mohd Ossama discussed issues of minorities education, madarsa education, communal polarization and pro corporate bent prevalent today.

Both leaders discussed key issues of minorities welfare & development, education issues of marginalized sections and Congress organisations at length.

1. RPI and other dalit leaders failed on the promise of OBC/SC/ST emancipation based politics. 2. Dallis needed their own party, hence BAMCEF, BS4 & BSP were formed. 3. Art of continuous & successful opposition gives an front line politics good shape. 4. His time in his job saw some leave based discrimination hence saw an inspiration to fight for injustice. 5. BAMCEF became highly successful, as Dalits got united being in their careers & professions. 6. The No. 2 chronology figure i.e. Manyavar Kanshiraam was second only to No.1 i.e Dr. Ambedkar. 7. His election campaigns & political slogans were based on real reality of Dalits & backwards. 8. Labor Leader Prof. Md Ossama gave a speech on the Caste Census at Lohia Mazdoor Bhavan, Narhi, Lucknow in November 2023.  The function at the Lohia Mazdoor Bhavan was organized by Socialist Party (India) and many social thinkers, Dalit thinkers, journalists, writers, and politicians were present.   The speech given by Prof. Mohd Ossama was covered by Mooknayak- a political journal. The Mooknayak journal writes its heading while describing the function, "  Meeting in Memory of Karpoori Thakur Propels Caste Census to the Center Stage of Political Discourse.... While V.P. Singh is credited with introducing OBC reservations in the government sector by implementing the Mandal Commission recommendations, it was Karpoori Thakur, the former Bihar Chief Minister, who set the tone for community reservations. Dr. Lohia and an era of 1960s, 1950s socialist politics is over. Today there is dogmatic shift in the mainstream narrative of pro- business parties. Parliamentarians are no longer debating on ideological grounds, some bills are passed with almost no debate. Imperialist nations control media, culture, arts, technology and more importantly the destiny of labour. Post USSR, fall of Berlin Wall, 1991 economic reforms and WTO and World Bank led globalisation has greatly damaged the left narrative of a welfare socialist state. Global corporations dictate terms over laws & rules, they assign key partnership with government to establish coordination. Trickle down economics has not been successful in eradicating global hunger, destitution and poverty. It's has aggravated miseries and massive income & wealth inequality. Prof. Mohd Ossama was present at AIKKMS Stall, Mahapadav, Lucknow in November 2023. The All India Kisan Khet Mazdoor Sangathan, Kisan Sabha, and other Kisan organizations were protesting during the Mahapadav against the anti-poor policies of the union governments successively post-1991.  The workers and peasants presented their demands at the Mahapadav and various leaders spoke on the issues. Prof. Mohd Ossama was present during most parts of Mahapadav. 

Labour Leader Prof. Md Ossama visited HKS Bhavan, Delhi for Agricultural Workers training program for Hindi-speaking states in December 2023.  Prof. Mohd Ossama has spoken on farm issues, agricultural policies, and other rural aspects over the years.  Khet Mazdoor is the core agriculture worker and produces the real wealth of the nation. Kisan Sabha has over the years highlighted the plight of farmers in the era of neo-liberal economic thinking and imperialist global order and other institutions seeking to infuse big capital at the cost of local labor.  Khet Mazdoor Union promises an alternative vision for an inclusive economy in India. 

CPI is one of India's apex political parties, it is an 100 years old secular, holistic and inclusive party at the vanguard of peasantry, working class & general masses.  Comrade D Raja is heading CPI is an seasoned statesman and former parliamentarian. Prof. Mohd Ossama met Comrade Raja at Ajoy Bhavan in New Delhi in December 2023 over a discussion on UP Kisan Sabha, economic growth, employment conditions in the nation. The meeting was fruitful.  Prof. Mohd Ossama was with UP Kisan Sabha between 2018 to 2021.  Communist parties are still considered ethical, sober and decent in our political system. 

Former Incharge of UP Kisan Sabha Resource Centre and Former Member CPIM Lucknow District Prof. Mohd Ossama met the Kisan and Mazdoor leadership of CPIM UP in Lucknow.  In October 2023, Prof. Mohd Ossama met UPKS GS Comrade Mukut Singh, CITU GS Comrade PN Rai and Khet Mazdoor Union Representative Comrade Bharti at Kisan Sabha Office in Lucknow. The meeting was cordial and various issues on left unity, left politics, left wing academic thinking and 2024 polls were discussed. Kisan Mazdoor Unity is needed to develop social contract with the masses for the party.
