Remembering Dr. Lohia!  Is Indian socialism headless or faceless now!  New faces of socialism needed!  Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia was a doctorate in Salt Satyagraha and was an outstanding intellectual and thinker. He was a secretary at foreign affairs department of All India Congress Committee (AICC) and later went on to become the champion of Indian socialism in Indian conditions. His writings inspired the whole generations of leaders and thinkers after him. He was once the face of Indian socialism. But today after 1991 economic reforms, there are almost no hundred percent socialist politicians and almost no hundred percent socialist parties.  Most socialist people may be practicing centrist politics and most normal politicians may be following general prevailing capitalism led culture and sociological thought.  But do we need New faces of socialism??
